is an architecture studio based between Fribourg and Lausanne, co-founded by Jean-Michaël Taillebois and Sébastien Tripod. Their practice, based on contextual, collaborative and experimental approaches, explores environmental and social ecology. Tied to traditional craftsmanship and construction techniques, they design projects rooted in the existing and within the available. Between ongoing projects and temporary installations, bureaumilieux develops a practice that is both grounded and evolving, attentive to context and use.
